Recognizing innovative merchandising displays with the 68th Annual Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) Awards

MONTCLAIR, NJ – New benchmarks in in-store merchandising innovation have once again been set.

During a live awards ceremony at Shop! MarketPlace 2026 in New Orleans on May 6, 2026, Shop! Association announced the winners of the 2026 Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) Awards.

As the retail industry’s most prestigious and longest-running awards competition, the OMA Awards recognize excellence in merchandise displays across a wide range of product and retail categories.

“The OMA Award winners demonstrate how bold thinking, craftsmanship and innovation continue to raise the bar for merchandising at retail. These displays not only capture attention, but also create meaningful shopper engagement and measurable brand impact,” said Krystal Garcia, VP of Marketing at SmartWork Media.

A distinguished panel of judges reviewed more than 200 merchandise display entries competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze honors across 22 categories, the Path Zero Sustainability Innovation Award, and the industry’s most coveted Display of the Year title. Entries were judged on strategic intent, excellence in design, creativity, original use of materials, effective use of space and quality of execution.
